May Cafe

im fairly new to the Medford area (from salem ma) and have yet to find that perfect American style Chinese food restaurant. iv tried so many places and been disappointed, but Mays puts an end to all that nonsense :). I ordered right off grubhub which was much more simple than I thought. now, im all for trying new food, but when it comes to Chinese take out, I like to keep it original. I ordered chicken lo mein, boneless spareribs, chicken fingers, and a small order of crab rangoons. my food was ready for me when I walked in, and still hot and ready to eat by the time I got home. (only a five minute drive). not sure if it was the owner but the man at the desk was so nice. I actually felt comfortable and not like such an inconvenience like many other places. I was quickly out the door and I must say very satisfied when I opened my dinner. it was delicious and by far the best Chinese food iv had in years. definitely got a good rating from me and I will definitely be returning to Mays for my next take out order. only bad thing I can say about this place is the parking out front. had to circle the block twice in order to park which is not easy when your new to the neighborhood. other than that, love the food, love the place. id give it an extra star if I could!

Great hot 7 sour soup if you have a cold. Sweet and sour chicken seemed like chicken fingers with heavy breading which fell off easily; which I did not like. General's chicken is great/

Great food. Just a very high minimum price you must meet. Great for multiple people, but if you order alone, you better be hungry to meet the minimum price required.

Great food, well seasoned and you can tell that they use fresh ingredients. Food arrived hot and several minutes before estimated delivery time.
